Simple in shape and sturdy in material, each Merchant Home item is carefully designed to feel great in the hand, fit efficiently in the cupboard, and be used everyday.  

Educated in architecture and with a decade of work in product development and merchandising for major retailers, our collection is designed by Merchant Home founder and creative director, Alexandra Sklar. 

Clean lines, clever details, and simple style

We've been using our initial collection of modern tablewares at home for a year before sharing with you. For us, details matter- the elegant foot of our stacking glassware, the internal curvature of of our versatile bowls, and the precise dimensions of our shipping boxes have all been thoughtfully refined to fit our design ethos of clean lines, clever details, and simple style.

For living, well

Merchant Home is a woman-owned business headquartered in coastal Santa Cruz, California, surrounded by sun, sky, and surf. In the spirit of living well, we take our lunch breaks outside, spike our water with fresh lemons from the yard, and (try to) embrace the ever-present beach sand lingering on the floors.
