This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from merchanthome.com (the “Site”). Use of the site signifies your acceptance and understanding of our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy does not apply to any third-party websites, services or applications, even if they are accessible through our Services.

You may provide personal information directly to Merchant Home by making purchases, participating in sweepstakes or giveaways hosted by us or an affiliated third-party, subscribing to our email list, registering for an account, providing it at an in-person event, or requesting information.

When you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information, email address, and phone number. We refer to this information as “Order Information”.

We collect your email address if you choose to subscribe via our newsletter opt-in or as part of your transaction.

Information may be collected via your use of the site, including browsing and purchasing. We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to:

- When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

Our payments are processed using Shopify Payments (powered by Stripe), Apple Pay, or PayPal. Information may be shared with these third parties in order to process your transaction fully.

California Residents- Your Rights

Please note that Merchant Home does not in practice provide any Personal Information to Third Parties for their direct marketing purposes.  California law permits users who are California residents to request and obtain from us a list of the Third Parties to whom we have disclosed their Personal Information (if any) for their direct marketing purposes in the prior calendar year, as well as the type of Personal Information disclosed to those parties. This list may be provided once per year, free of charge. 

Data Retention

We retain the Personal Information received as described in this Privacy Policy for as long as you use our services. When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be modified from time to time in order to reflect changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. You may be notified via copy placed on this site or electronic or written correspondence of these changes. By using the site, you signify your acceptance of the current Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy at any point, you should refrain from using the site.

Use of Site by Minors

The site is not directed for individuals under the age of 16. If you are under the age of 18, you must have your parent’s consent to use the site. If you are a parent and believe your child has provided Personal Information without your consent, contact us at hello@merchanthome.com and we will take action to remove the account and Personal Information from our records.

Opting Out

You have the right to opt-out of certain uses and disclosures of your information. However, if you choose to do this, you may not be able to access all features of the site, including the ability to purchase.

Please note that following this, if provide your information again in the future (via purchasing, subscribing, or other actions), that information may be used as described in this Privacy Policy.
